Privacy

Last updated 20 October 2026

Wiser shows two dharma talks and asks which is wiser. You can use it without an account.

What we keep

• Your picks without an account: stored in your browser, and sent to our database with a random device id (not linked to your name, email or IP address) so the crowd chart can learn. Requests are rate-limited using a one-way hash of your IP address that is discarded after an hour.
• Watch signals: which talk you skipped or finished, and talks that failed to play, so broken ones can be removed.
• With an account (when sign-in is enabled): your username, avatar choice, picks and profile settings.

What we don't do

• No ads, no tracking pixels, no selling data.
• Talks play in YouTube's own player; YouTube's privacy policy applies to that player.

Where it lives

A Cloudflare D1 database operated for Wiser. To delete your data, clear it from Your model → History, or email hello@tantrafiles.xyz.
